Hi all, I want to fix make's object directory rule, so that it works as expected by all concerned. Anybody have a feeling for the right thing to do? As Bruce points out not only is the current rule way to complicated, but the way it is implemented in make(1) now is wrong (at least according some standards). Please tell me the desired order and I will be happy to fix it. TIA, Steve
