It's SVR4-emulator running on NteBSD.

BSD has no poll system call. But many BSD* has poll to do it simil SVR4.
NetBSD has sys_generic.c on sys/kern with a function sys_poll.

No, they implement it, the sys call number is 209 in the kernel 
syscall.master
