This is an OpenPGP/MIME signed message (RFC 2440 and 3156) --------------enigDB93B684368E95CD2E9E4232 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1; format=flowed Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Daniel Underwood wrote: > Thanks for the help. >=20 > I couldn't find any flags/fields in TCP packets indicated whether > encrypted (as in the case of SSH packets). There isn't any, right? Correct: there isn't anything like that in the TCP headers. Encryption on TCP streams is an application level thing that only affects packet payloads. There are transport layer encryption protocols -- eg. IPSec, OpenVPN, etc= =2E -- but those allow tunnelling TCP streams through them and aren't necessa= rily TCP themselves.
