from man 8 dhclient: The -1 flag cause dhclient to try once to get a lease. If it fails, dhclient exits with exit code two. with a missing dhcpserver or non-existent interface, this works. however, it does not when i unplug the ethernet cable. in that case, i get back true after the timeout, not 2. can someone verify this? is it a bug that must be fixed from the freebsd side or should a bug report to the isc-dhcp people?
