The third and (hopefully) final version of this patch is at:

This includes a patch for the man page.  It does not include some
of the minor changes to some source files that the two previous
patches had, because I have already committed those minor changes
to -current.  Somehow the patch is still over 1,200 lines :-)

I hope to commit this by Wednesday.
