In a sense those numbers are correct but, do not interpret it as if it is
really demanding that much resource.
Top needs to be taken with a grain of salt.

could that be right?  This is a 4.0-RELEASE system with XFree86 3.3.6,
while sitting at an xdm screen.  Think these numbers are accurate or
would top be lying?
