Reccomend disabling telnet completely. Use ssh, as it's a bit more
secure. I would also suggest that you refrain from putting any users in
the 'mail' group. This is for the mail daemons to use. Finally, to
prevent logins, set each user's shell to /sbin/nologin (same as most of
the system accounts).

** Is it possible to add users just for mail and not allow them to
** telnet in? When I assign users to the "mail" group I still find that
** they're able to telnet or ssh into the box. How will accomplish just
** giving them access to pop3 and smtp?
**
** Thanks.
