I dont think the memory is bad cause the only core dumps i get are from mailman, no other program crashes and i have uptimes of over 250 days and can successfully compile world and kernels without problems. As for the heat thing it is an EPIA M1000 that uses 16 watts of power and has a "fansink". I am wondering if it has to do with the processor not being an AMD or Intel cause it is a C3 VIA. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Chuck Swiger" <cswiger@mac.com> To: "george" <george@vagner.com> Cc: <questions@freebsd.org> Sent: Tuesday, August 26, 2003 9:55 AM Subject: Re: Mailman > george wrote: > > updated python and mailman but still get these > > > >>pid 157 (python2.3), uid 91: exited on signal 11 (core dumped) > >>pid 9300 (perl), uid 0: exited on signal 10 (core dumped) > >>pid 151 (python2.3), uid 91: exited on signal 5 (core dumped) > > You've very probably got hardware problems like bad memory or overheating. > > -- > -Chuck > > >
