I just tested mtr port under 4.1-RELEASE, too.  It seems working fine
for me with even if IPv4-only kernel.
It seems PR 19339 was merged into mtr-042-v6-20000719.diff.gz side,
and mtr-042-v6-20000719.diff.gz is equivalent of
mtr-042-v6-20000507.diff.gz with PR 19339 applied.
