Hello,=0AI am using FreeBSD 8.2 in a Marvel arm cpu (mv78100).=0AI am=0A h= aving a problem while writing into some GPIOs through the I2C, the =0Aprob= lem is that it takes very long time (10 msec) for writing 2 bytes. I=0A can= see that the driver twsi.c makes very long DELAY (1 msec x several times,= during a byte writing). Does any one know what is the reason for those del= ays?=0AThanks.=0A From owner-freebsd-arm@FreeBSD.ORG Sun Jun 29 20:27:04 2014 Return-Path: <owner-freebsd-arm@FreeBSD.ORG> Delivered-To: freebsd-arm@freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:1900:2254:206a::19:1]) (using TLSv1 with cipher ADH-AES256-SHA (256/256 bits)) (No client certificate requested) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTPS id 218CB318 for <freebsd-arm@freebsd.org>; Sun, 29 Jun 2014 20:27:04 +0000 (UTC) Received: from nm15-vm8.bullet.mail.ir2.yahoo.com (nm15-vm8.bullet.mail.ir2.yahoo.com [212.82.96.205]) (using TLSv1 with cipher DHE-RSA-AES256-SHA (256/256 bits)) (Client did not present a certificate) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTPS id 7081226E6 for <freebsd-arm@freebsd.org>; Sun, 29 Jun 2014 20:27:02 +0000 (UTC) Received: from [212.82.98.53] by nm15.bullet.mail.ir2.yahoo.com with NNFMP; 29 Jun 2014 20:24:38 -0000 Received: from [212.82.98.111] by tm6.bullet.mail.ir2.yahoo.com with NNFMP; 29 Jun 2014 20:24:38 -0000 Received: from [127.0.0.1] by omp1048.mail.ir2.yahoo.com with NNFMP; 29 Jun 2014 20:24:38 -0000 X-Yahoo-Newman-Property: ymail-3 X-Yahoo-Newman-Id: 93205.25966.bm@omp1048.mail.ir2.yahoo.com Received: (qmail 66696 invoked by uid 60001); 29 Jun 2014 20:24:38 -0000 DKIM-Signature: v=1; a=rsa-sha256; c=relaxed/relaxed; d=yahoo.com; s=s1024; t=1404073478; bh=9pacPc/NNuw/qI/705Fy/d4MJpVOVZl7DSJHnZm2IqU=; h=Message-ID:Date:From:Reply-To:Subject:To:MIME-Version:Content-Type; b=a/vgiXatFAVD90/X9NSonZHss3SblZUF+kuVTUvtc6S/K5WfIfZUeBjxUsrDZ4tSHLke10O7yw+ha3GWFqLU7fGJgKdoD0BG7DNMamVcCgxSU2GINm3swY0y2zvDWBuSq1IZ1BCTPD5L3C0uH0xokaHKyjiGcc6km+CQOC0Pgvc= X-YMail-OSG: kwImZqQVM1k84CIwDJhMsOLio04bNrM6KcCklTCa82AE1cq SuPYDhRNH9IWwnS5WrFwkRcWQEoddew9OKJImhVQjjCOAjDt8.uuWaoF8v4t UOBCuYuI3zkTWyGIDaCST2auVwTyyOuNcD4yjjDeSwtVEgdejhLIL8aR8dhj X7oynnjyCywpixsVV.jR_3Wz7WdToEVY6u7gfEOcO_cXcCsNKWewGvJBx6Oq 8nlljKezVvWpiGZkEEwS7y4ULt05EwbXCeTKWh7IN6C_l3gfe6chKy4GM4CZ mT1YfDInnKO9AWpXvh1OSzwBP2OipGrY1a.yLxAQ5ctYBUQNKlF08exc17aY ARSv5LawJMt3THZW8kmRDJLZirPlZmeoJOxy1L8.ywUVWCWqMRwmXsIXfMsC EEC_eJvtNEsyQkDf2B.yylJlD5HJ0YXNjBPxoTi7QKzu.UfJhMKGCTaeC9wj XNwsvJfuAok2p6L738TkICMFlwBHHG8.OdTmwOUMud_fzz5AbbcjbyDreGNI e7ehJzTkxf__oPtHvlmnv6PGpoc54Uj8RClk6gjadj6.y.mDv6w-- Received: from [92.254.163.13] by web172804.mail.ir2.yahoo.com via HTTP; Sun, 29 Jun 2014 21:24:37 BST X-Rocket-MIMEInfo: 002.001, SGVsbG8sCkkgYW0gdXNpbmcgRnJlZUJTRCA4LjIgaW4gYSBNYXJ2ZWzCoCBhcm0gY3B1IChtdjc4MTAwKS4KSSBhbQpoYXZpbmcgYSBwcm9ibGVtIHdoaWxlIHdyaXRpbmcgaW50byBzb21lIEdQSU9zwqAgdGhyb3VnaCB0aGUgSTJDLCB0aGXCoApwcm9ibGVtIGlzIHRoYXQgaXQgdGFrZXMgdmVyeSBsb25nIHRpbWUgKDEwIG1zZWMpIGZvciB3cml0aW5nIDIgYnl0ZXMuIEkKY2FuIHNlZSB0aGF0IHRoZSBkcml2ZXIgdHdzaS5jIG1ha2VzwqAgdmVyeSBsb25nIERFTEFZICgxIG1zZWMgeCBzZXZlcmFsIHRpbWUBMAEBAQE- X-Mailer: YahooMailWebService/0.8.191.1 Message-ID: <1404073477.9112.YahooMailNeo@web172804.mail.ir2.yahoo.com> Date: Sun, 29 Jun 2014 21:24:37 +0100 From: Tony Moseby <tsmoseby@yahoo.no> Reply-To: Tony Moseby <tsmoseby@yahoo.no> Subject: i2c To: "freebsd-arm@freebsd.org" <freebsd-arm@freebsd.org> MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1 Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable X-Content-Filtered-By: Mailman/MimeDel 2.1.18 X-BeenThere: freebsd-arm@freebsd.org X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.18 Precedence: list List-Id: "Porting FreeBSD to ARM processors." <freebsd-arm.freebsd.org> List-Unsubscribe: <http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/options/freebsd-arm>, <mailto:freebsd-arm-request@freebsd.org?subject=unsubscribe> List-Archive: <http://lists.freebsd.org/pipermail/freebsd-arm/> List-Post: <mailto:freebsd-arm@freebsd.org> List-Help: <mailto:freebsd-arm-request@freebsd.org?subject=help> List-Subscribe: <http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-arm>, <mailto:freebsd-arm-request@freebsd.org?subject=subscribe> X-List-Received-Date: Sun, 29 Jun 2014 20:27:04 -0000 Hello,=0AI am using FreeBSD 8.2 in a Marvel=A0 arm cpu (mv78100).=0AI am=0A= having a problem while writing into some GPIOs=A0 through the I2C, the=A0= =0Aproblem is that it takes very long time (10 msec) for writing 2 bytes.
