The current handbook, chapter 8.4, explanation of the kernel option "KBD_INSTALL_CDEV" provides only marginally more information than the option line itself, namely that "KBD" is an abbreviation for "keyboard." It should be updated to explain /why/ the user would need this option.

According to some mailing list posts, it seems this option is necessary to automatically detect USB keyboards. If that's the case, it would be very useful information.
