I have minicom, and it dials the number, but it doesn't prompt > me for a username or password! Hint: Use user mode ppp, aka `ppp'. Has a built in terminal mode and script. Set up a new ISP profile in /etc/ppp/ppp.conf, copying from the `papsite' example. Set your username and password as authname and authkey. Run ppp as `ppp isp' with isp as the label you chose, then run `dial' to connect.
