I note on my 2.1R and 2.1.5R boxes that if the primary NIS server is down, or failed to respond on a tranfers pull, the secondary servers end up with blank nis password databases. Does anyone know if this was addressed in 2.2 and above? or what i can do about it? It doesnt happen too often, but enough to require a fix.
