Hello, I need advice on video broadcast tools for FreeBSD. I found the VIC under ports/mbone, and it looks nice. However, I am worried about frame grabber support. The VIC documentation says that only the Matrox Meteor and the Radius Video Spigot are supported. Unfortunately, these cards appear to be discontinued. Can VIC be used with other frame grabbers (such as the bt848-based)? Are there other good options for video broadcasting (using IP multicast)?
