The following reply was made to PR kern/36603; it has been noted by GNATS. From: "Michael Hughes" <mdhughes_us@hotmail.com> To: freebsd-gnats-submit@FreeBSD.org Cc: iedowse@FreeBSD.org Subject: Re: kern/36603: X crashes Date: Wed, 11 Dec 2002 06:59:08 -0600 I had forgotten that I opened this PR. After working on this problem for weeks, I found that if I ran my box at 66MHz FSB I didn't have any problems. I ran it that way for a month or so. I had 100MHz memory, but I took a chance that it was the memory and replaced it with some 133MHz memory. I have been running it at 100MHz FSB since without any trouble. I am sorry that I didn't close the PR! -- Michael D Hughes Loghome living is the best! mdh@jcn.net _________________________________________________________________ STOP MORE SPAM with the new MSN 8 and get 2 months FREE* http://join.msn.com/?page=features/junkmail To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-bugs" in the body of the message
