I installed FreeBSD 4.9, | and than used cvsup to bring myself up-to-date with the latest in | RELENG_4_9. I did a "make world", so the system is completely up-to-date. | | When I try to build this port, I get: | | ===> Building for p5-gettext-1.01_4 | Makefile out-of-date with respect to | /usr/libdata/perl/5.00503/mach/Config.pm | /usr/libdata/perl/5.00503/mach/CORE/config.h | Cleaning current config before rebuilding Makefile... | make -f Makefile.old clean > /dev/null 2>&1 || /bin/sh -c true | /usr/bin/perl5.00503 "-I/usr/libdata/perl/5.00503/mach" | "-I/usr/libdata/perl/5.00503" Makefile.PL "CC=cc" "CCFLAGS=-O -pipe | -march=pentiumpro" "PREFIX=/usr/local" "INSTALLPRIVLIB=/usr/local/lib" | "INSTALLARCHLIB=/usr/local/lib" | Writing Makefile for Locale::gettext | ==> Your Makefile has been rebuilt. <== | ==> Please rerun the make command. <== | false | *** Error code 1 | | Stop in /usr/ports/devel/p5-Locale-gettext/work/gettext-1.01. | *** Error code 1 | | Stop in /usr/ports/devel/p5-Locale-gettext. | | If you have any ideas as to how to get this working, I'd be very thankful. | :) Yes, you've had some time problem on your box. I'll suggest synchronizing your machine via ntpdate, do a make clean, and remake. If it still happens, it's because you have done your make world ahead in time, I'll suggest looking at the timestamp of your Config.pm file, which would be in : /usr/libdata/perl/5.00503/mach/Config.pm or /usr/local/lib/perl5/5.6.*/mach/Config.pm or /usr/local/lib/perl5/5.8.*/mach/Config.pm depending on your installed perl version. This file should not be ahead in time or you'll never be able to install a perl module. Just touch it and it'll be all right. -- Mathieu Arnold --==========B440BDDD35DE0FA1EBEC========== Content-Type: application/pgp-signature Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.4 (MingW32) iQEVAwUBQK3imVvROjYJ63c1AQJBMAf+NOgRH0EhpJFeWNfmd2iVsi3UMXd0/470 PCdXhyPza92d+RWhQ2j8L1A9Kjap/yhklc/2TLAc0U5pAq+YkzruXGHOQBTFHZXM QrNzbMFvcZG8AXrP5URLNbuXBSYkNCn6OTzr9UmiVP6W00lTYgmIT+EGFGSaHo4K RKXxF2OcetKHfz0e4fBQ59jW1pr/rOoeg1VDnqd1pmkHT59jGr5bki5PINBw0A9X +SJbZu5DC1l0+Xqt/QsLDdr4Cfpo2lf3NNdd+eVjUV1I2xAF0aIADD3uP+/j04rN I9zilTFKde7AqwkMoUU8fcEHySA3CMbYa4uoNusb2V+y60Keo8jwbQ== =riB9 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --==========B440BDDD35DE0FA1EBEC==========--
