there is no uname output at the time the problem occurs
>Description:
When installing FreeBSD 4.1.1-RELEASE on a system with a German
keyboard, one would like to use the German keymap during the
installation process. So when I install FreeBSD, the first thing I do
is always to select the keymap before going on to the "standard"
install. With 4.1.1, the keymap menu is optically broken (functionally
it is OK).
>How-To-Repeat:
- Boot from the 4.1.1 installation floppies kern.flp and mfsroot.flp
- From the installation menu, select "Keymap"
- Voila!
