I recently saw some 256M SDRAMS. They were composed of two layers
of 64Meg parts stacked on top of each other. Looked neat. Now I can
get 1G into any motherboard that has 4 memory slots.

They were very expensive. About twice the price of 2 128M SDRAM parts.
