Be careful when liquid-cooling the payload. Remember, the payload will be evacuated. Water boils at just over 0 C in= a vacuum. If you use water cooling, then you'd get water vapor all over th= e place upon evacuation, with possible condensation everywhere. Any cooling liquid would have to be kept in a closed system. How is the payload to be powered up? Does it run in "standby mode" until= and during the launch, only to go into mission mode for those five minutes? = Is there an external signal to indicate mission mode? If not, then the powe= r will be dissipated while the system is on the launch pad, and no amount of liq= uid will help.
