i'm having difficulty installing 3.3 on the following system:

amptron 3100B motherboard
intel p2-400
128m ram
buslogic bt-958 scsi controller
2 ibm 4.5g scsi drives
diamond mm pro1000gl video
keyboard, mouse

scsi controller recognizes both disks. disks low level formatted.

i can boot off the 3.3 install disks and get through the full
screen config. i remove everything but the scsi controller, keyboard,
mouse and syscon from the config. system boots w/o errors until it
gets to "npx0: INT 16 interface", which is the last line displayed.
the system then freezes up.

i've played with various combinations of settings in the bios, none
of which seem to have any effect. there are no irq conflicts.

anyone have any ideas as to what the problem could be?
