Hello everyone,

	I'm trying to upgrade from FreeBSD 2.1.5 off of the CD to current
as of Sat. morn. (Oct. 12). The "make world" is failing with the following
messages. The beginning of the problem is where "make world" wants to:

cd /usr/src/gnu/lib/libstdc++ &&      make beforeinstall
install -C -o bin -g bin -m 444
/usr/local/src/gnu/lib/libstdc++/_G_config.h
/usr/local/src/gnu/lib/libstdc++/../../../contrib/libg++/libstdc++/cassert

[stuff deleted]

and ending in an error:

install:
/usr/local/src/gnu/lib/libstdc++/../../../contrib/libg++/libstdc++/cassert:
No such file or directory
*** Error code 71

What is cassert? Do I need it? Ho wcome I don't have it? What do I need to
do? Please advise.
