 If 'alternative speller' would work for Pico too, would it be OK with you?

 Well, as you insist, I will retain the patch; I'll come back later on
this...

 I'm prepairing new patch archives and send-pr them; tomorrow I hope to
get back to -DTERMCAP_WINS.
