System: FreeBSD zac.int.diddens.de 4.7-STABLE FreeBSD 4.7-STABLE #0: Fri Nov 8 22:17:32 CET 2002 p@zac.int.diddens.de:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/ZAC i386

dmesgs (boot -v kernel and boot -v kernel.old) can be found at:
	http://diddens.de/~p/dmesg.1.3.2.7
	http://diddens.de/~p/dmesg.1.3.2.6 (the last working version)
and a diff of them at:
	http://diddens.de/~p/dmesg.diff

>Description:
As of the change from fm801.c,v 1.3.2.6 to fm801.c,v 1.3.2.7 my
soundcard is not recognized anymore. I simply get an "unknown
        card"
>How-To-Repeat:
	Compiling a FreeBSD-STABLE kernel with fm801.c,v 1.3.2.7 and
trying to use it with a Terratec i512.
>Fix:
My workaround is compiling the kernel with fm801.c,v 1.3.2.6
