I am running ipfw on Pentium 100 with 32 Mb of RAM and 1GB SCSI. This
box also runs squid, SOCKS and other stuff and acts as a firewall and
proxy for a network with about 40 users. Didn't have any trouble with
perfomance. Processor load has never been higher than 5%.
