This is the 1 out of 10 case... :-( It is a ATA100 cable...

This one should probably be in the faq.  :) =20

9 times out of ten, it means that you're using lower quality IDE cable.
Changing to shielded 80 ping ATA100 (or better) IDE cable should fix the
problem.
