What are the settings for the 3c509, both in FreeBSD and in 3c5x9cfg.exe?

Have you checked the machine's network cable?  (sorry if i"m being
redundant, I've forgotten what we've tried)

I'm not sure.  If it's working okay then I'd leave it alone.  You can try
deleting it:

route delete 132.10.1
