Considering that the guspnp6 patchkit is built for 2.2-ALPHA/BETA, I'm
surprised it even compiled on current.

It works just great on this 2.2-BETA box with a GUS PnP.

I would *highly* suggest tuning into the freebsd-multimedia list, which is
where the sound hackers hang out.

I believe OSS is interested in developing for FreeBSD, but you'll have to
ask the multimedia list for full details.
