 FreeBSD 001101.zer0.org 3.1-STABLE FreeBSD 3.1-STABLE #5: Wed Mar 17 19:53:15 PST 1999 root@001101.zer0.org:/usr/src/sys/compile/001101 i386
 >Description:
When sysinstall is used to modify defaults in /etc/rc.conf, it inserts a fresh
 # -- sysinstall generated deltas -- # line each time it is used, leaving no
spaces after previous edits. This is senseless.
 >How-To-Repeat:
repeatedly use /stand/sysinstall to edit configuration information. Look
at the /etc/rc.conf file after a few edits.
 >Fix:
Either have a "begin sysinstall edit 199903182201" line, then the changes, then
"end sysinstall edit 199903182201" line, or have it check for the previous
 # -- sysinstall generated deltas -- # line and append to the data after that.
Neither way is ideal, but I have no better suggestions at the moment.
