Ok, with Steve Woodford's patch to the x86emu, I'm up and running using the VESA driver, with 1024x768x24BPP. The i810 driver SIGSEGV's. Where do we go from here to get the i810 stuff working? I mailed Eric a log and a backtrace. What else do we need? (This is from the laptop, in X, running GNOME. YEAH!!! Thanks ALL!
