Yes, that is my guess which is why I have not made much effort at writing a
book.

I mentioned it to him at the Open Source Convention last June in San
Jose. I suggested that he take "Unix in a Nutshell" for SunOS and start
there. Of all the nutshell books they have done that would be the
closest. He said they he would look into it. I suspect he said that to shut
me up. Someone else could do a nutshell book for FreeBSD. Same format but
they could no use the name. How about "The Geek Desk Reference" ;-)
