I haven't had a problem with the one linux binary I built ( linux
netscape ).

I do have a problem with a linux dso module for apache.
Sucks... cause now I'm forced to use Rhat... and I really really wanted to
avoid this.

As for hardware compatability.... on a dell precision 610 with Adapatec
Array 1000, FreeBSD didn't
recognize the raid partition, only the single disk devices. I'm sure it's a
config issue on my side - haven't
spent too much time with FreeBSD.

I'm about 3/4 of the way done on building a Rhat 4 processor pentium pro200
box with HP netraid adapter.
Rhat saw the 20gig raid 5 partition no problem.
