Hello,

I need a PCI SCSI interface. The Adaptec 2940 is more or less
standard, but damned expensive.

I read there is the NCR 53C810 as a cheap and even better
alternative.

I'd like to ask if this is true, and if there are other cheaper
interfaces that perform as well (under FreeBSD) as the 2940.

Thanks in advance,
