Native FreeBSD?

Oops... Seriously, erm - You will need to nuke the drive, and during the
install process it will get re-partitioned and formatted as ufs etc. - If it's
a 1.2gb drive make sure the root filesystem (/) starts and ends within the
first 1024 cylinders, or you could end up with boot problems...

I don't beleive you can install FreeBSD onto an MS-DOS / FAT filesystem etc.
unlike linux... (though I am willing to be proven wrong ;-)

Other than that - read the FAQs / Handbooks at www.freebsd.org
