When I type "updatedb", error message: no such command!! There is no 
"updatedb" to update database!! Is there other command?

Yes, it will work, but you do need the database.  Usually it's rebuilt
once a week (on Friday at about 3:30 AM).  If you don't have your
computer on at that time, you can run it by hand (as root) when you
get a chance.  Mine just ran a few minutes ago. :)

I've done this, but I'm not sure I got it right, and I don't know if I
want to have you go and try stuff that can toast your hard drive. :)
