For the record, this is in fact due to a difference in the OpenBSD
driver, i.e., it does not apply to FreeBSD.  OpenBSD does not enable
VLAN tag stripping in hardware.  Without this, the chip apparently
does not perform any rx checksumming on tagged frames.
