Yuck - do it the easy way!  :-)

	cd /usr/ports/www/netscape4-{navigator,communicator}
	make install clean

There is a 4.5 version of communicator out for FreeBSD if you desperately
need all the cruft that comes w/ it.  

	ftp://ftp.netscape.com/pub/communicator/4.05/development/english
/unix/freebsd/

	(obviously all on one line - you should be able to find the other 
	 versions there if you don't want to use the port)
