Hey again,
Im still trying to install FreeBSD on an Mitsubishi Amity CN =
notebook.
It has no cdrom so I am trying to do a FTP install from a PCMCIA modem(I =
have alot of time on my hands) ok.. heres the skinny.. With the 3.3 =
PCCARD floppys it finds the card( Card inserted, slot) but doesnt seem =
to assign it a comp port.. with the PAO Floppys it finds the card and =
assignes it cuaa3.... but when I go into ppp from the installer and try =
to do a term with /dev/cuaa3 it gets to Phase: deflink opening -> ready=20
then it just hangs ~. gets me out of this and if i try it again it just =
goes blank and hangs.... What should I do?
