Wasn't that "lots of problems" with a particular model of Adaptec
controller?  So far, my only problem with the OEM versions of the
controllers I work with has been resolved by disabling SCAM support, and
verifying the BIOS rev of the controller. I guess we must just be living
clean. ;-)
