Hello, yesterday (at least) the partition table of my wd2 got erased. On wd2 there was a single (DOS compatible) FreeBSD slice with partitions wds1a to wds1f. My question is: Would sysinstall recreate the same partition w/o touching the slice's contents, so that I could see, if the slice is still accessible? On the grounds of the failure, I just remade the world and later Windows NT asked me to put its signature on it. Perhaps this was the cause. Thanks for any and every help.
