Use ghostscript as a filter for your printer through the print daemon (lpd). Ghostscript is available as a package on ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/packages-2.1/printing/ghostscript-3.51.tgz Have a look at the printcap(5) man page paying special attention to the "of" option when describing the printer.
