I need to upgrade sendmail now. I have ver 2.1.5 of FreeBSD and ver 8.7.5 of sendmail. I have downloaded sendmail from sendmail.org. I had hoped to put this off until I could upgrade the entire system to 2.2.6 but I need the sendmail upgrade now. How painful will this be? What files should I backup? restore? Can I just follow the instructions from sendmailorg to install sendmail Is there a precompiled package for BSD? (I couldent find it) if so give file name.
