If it's not documented in the PH yet, then it should.  I'll add it to my
TODO list.

I think I've given reasons clear and valid enough to strongly prefer vocal
installations.  Pessimizing debugging, leaving users unaware of what's going
on is bad, and we should not encourage it.

In fact, most of the times muted commands are there not by choice, but due
to lack of initial thought of implications of doind so.
