Some info which may be relevant: The LT chipset is *not* directly supported
in XFree86 3.3.2. I don't know how similar the LT PRO is. Below is a message
I sent to comp.windows.x.i386unix after the problem I had with a board with
the LT chipset was resolved.

Thanks to the help of Marc Aurele La France, I now have the 3D RAGE LT
running smoothly with XF86_Mach64. Points to note:

- It runs "out of the box" with the XF86_SVGA driver. I never tried this
until it was suggested by Marc Aurele La France, since I "knew" I had a
Mach64 type card (and thus should use the XF86_Mach64 driver).

- It runs with the XF86_Mach64 driver *if* you insert the following in
the "Device" section of the XF86Config file:

   ChipID 0x4754
   ChipRev 0x7
