A bug in if_ed?  Some guy from scottland with a desktop system using dhcp
and if_ef cards reported trouble with corrupted packets after upgrading to
4.4.  I was unable to help him and assumed that it was an ed bug of some
sort.  (He doesn't have any other NICs to test with, unfortunately.)

Think it could be related?
