No, it's just a version number bump. AFAICT the "branch" stuff above is 
added by the script that generates the e-mail. If you look at the cvs 
logs themselves you can see that there are no branches.

But your concern is reasonable, I had a moment of panic myself when I 
saw the e-mail. :)
