My guess is that because it is checking for programs that are present in
both kde 1.1 and kde 1.0 it's finding the 1.0 versions and groking them.
You should pkg_delete the old kde 1.0 packages first.

P.S. When is the "dependency" on Mesa!! going to be removed? It's been
there forever, and truely does nothing except to bloat KDE and anything
that depends on Qt.
