Hey, My mail was down since the middle of December and my alternate email account died with the remote machine crashing a couple of weeks ago, but everything is back up again as of today. ;-) I took a 2-3 week break after burning out screwing with the light weight process and signaling framework in HotSpot, but I'm working on it again as of last night. The current port is based on the linux/ source tree (build environment) and it compiles cleanly, but the two major platform specific directories still need to be examined and then need to be appropriately glued to FreeBSD's pthread and signaling layer. It's pretty scary that such a sophisticate compiler is written in C++. I've got a pretty solid hold on what to do overall and I'll keep you folks updated. ;-) bill To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-java" in the body of the message
