See the description of the -k option in rcs(1) and co(1).  The keyword
expansion to use is recorded in each RCS file.  Apparently it had
been set to some non-default value in your copy of these files, for
whatever reason.  It could be because you or somebody changed the
files on your system; or it could be because somebody changed them
on freefall.  In either case, CVSup is just letting you know that it
changed the setting back to the default in order to match the master
repository.
