I can confirm this behavior at Vultr as well (QEMU/KVM). My initial experie=
nce
with this bug was noticing that, when given a reboot instruction, the system
would bring everything down, then freeze after the following:

All buffers sync.
Uptime: 37s
uhid0: detached
uhub0: detached

Blacklisting virtio_random via the rc.conf fixed and restarting solved the
issue immediately.
