It may make the machine very slow, but could you turn off all cacheing
to see if this clears the problem.

Does it seem to stay up and run fine with both caches disabled?  This
gives me a feeling for if we should pursue this as a cache problem, or
start to look else where for the problem.

Turn this off.

Set the above four to the default values if they are not already.
